Increasingly, performance venues are requiring artists to carry liability insurance for negligence claims leading to bodily harm or property damage, whether that damage is caused by the artists or their fans. Even when performance venues don’t require it, many touring acts decide it is a good investment. This premium offers coverage for instruments and equipment, studio liability, tour liability, travel/accident and long term care, and it is seeking to expand its offerings for individuals who makes all or part of their living in music, from arena tours to baby bands just getting started Each participating member will receive a policy designed to meet his or her specific touring needs. You can cover either a single date or a series of appearances, or you can buy a year-round policy. The policy protects you against lawsuits alleging injuries or property damage as a result of your tour operations, subject to policy terms, conditions and exclusions $1,000,000 combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage. $1,000,000 or $2,000,000 per event aggregate. $1,000,000 annual aggregate. Increased limits can be added through excess insurance policies. Premium cost will vary depending on: number of performances, type of show, attendance capacity of each performance, domestic or foreign performances, special effects, types of venues, and deductible options selected.
